My vision for 2012 is to create stunning portraits and imagery – mainly to serve as an outlet for self-expression and fun; to document the visual journey of my life and experiences; and to share my images with others. I strive to capture beautiful light to convey a mood, express emotion though peoples’ eyes, and use moments frozen in time to tell stories.
How cliché… I like to take pictures that I like to look at. (There – that’s better.)
That’s my vision statement for Project 52. Assignment One is: Who Are You?
“Tell us with a single paragraph what you want to be able to do with your images. Tell us what you do without telling us you are a photographer. Accompany that message with a single image taken around your home. Inside or out, make a photograph that adds insight into the mission statement you will be writing.”
These are some of the shots taken over the last few days that represent that vision.
Wish me luck!
